Role Profile
Recently we were successful participants in Ireland’s first Charity Hack. Leading charity experts developed an innovative fundraising campaign for VOICE over 12 hours. We are now recruiting an intern to assist in helping us roll-out this initiative.
Volunteer duties will include:
- Plan roll-out of nationwide community events with fundraising elements
- Coordinate event details and locations
- Engage and develop community event volunteers
- Communicate event details to and support key stake holders
- Assist in the design and development of event pack and information
- Liaise with designers to develop promotional materials
- Update database
- Submit articles on event for newsletter
- Engage in social media to increase awareness of events
The successful applicant will receive exceptional experience in the following areas:
- Project management, leading out an event from start to finish
- Communicating with key stake holders and media
- Working with an environmental NGO on important policy issues
