Slow Food ‘endorsement’ removed
29 May 2013: Any changes made to the Galway Bay salmon farm EIS [Environmental Impact Statement] since the close of the public consultation period must be made public, according to the environmental lobby group Friends of the Irish Environment [FIE].
The group has identified a section of the EIS where four lines have been removed. The lines in question appear to show that one of Ireland’s smoked salmon producers who is a member of Slow Foods International endorses the proposed development.
