Irish Seed Savers Association

Founded in 1991, The Irish Seed Savers Association exists as a living testimony to the richness and wealth of the agricultural legacy of our ancestors.

On their eight hectare site in Co. Clare with purpose built facilities, they have a seed bank containing over 600 rare and endangered vegetable varieties. They also have been a part of a number of research projects and research into apples, plums, grains and vegetables are ongoing.
