What we do

[columnize] [dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Irish Environmental Network represents to government the capacity building and funding needs of its member organisations, all of whom are involved in one way or another in the well-being, protection and enhancement of the environment. All these individual organisations attempt to achieve these aims through:

  • practical conservation work,
  • raising public awareness of environmental and conservation needs and
  • campaigning and lobbying.

Irish Environmental Network, with funding from the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government, collectively supports and co-ordinates these organisations so that they maximize their impact and effectiveness through combining their efforts in all of the above activities.
