Full day of walks, talks, demonstrations and activities relating to biodiversity.
Aims and objectives:
- To increase local understanding and awareness around biodiversity issues.
- To provide partcipants with experiential knowledge and emotional appreciation of biodiversity, as well as empower them to take action.
- To engage audiences of general public and some stakeholder groups who are not currently aware of the issue of biodiversity loss or active on biodiversity protection at present.
- To promote and publicize the work of INFF.

Biodiversity Focus: Mature woodland; new woodland; illustraing the biodiversity that can be achieved utilising current afforestation grants; riparian zone; pond; newly established butterfuly and bug garden; and demonstration allotment.
Geographic area: The event will take place at Manch, near Ballineen in West Cork. Based on previous events we expect to attract visitors from across Cork, Kerry and beyond.
