How much real access do you have to environmental information?
How much real influence can you have on decision-making that could have environmental and health impacts?
How easy is it for you to effectively access justice when your rights of access to information and decision-making are denied?
These are the questions that the Centre for Sustainability at the Institute of Technology Sligo would like you to answer through its website.
The Centre for Sustainability has just published draft research results that try to answer these questions, and they would really like to hear what you think. Recommendations include a constitutional amendment to protect individuals’ rights to a clean and healthy environment and a greater role for the public in local area and county development plans.
