FRED HARRISON, author of ‘Boom Bust, 2010’, has accurately predicted previous recessions and recovery. He debates the prospects for the Irish economy with a panel of prominent planners, policy makers and economists. He foresees trouble ahead but also offers practical solutions. In this public talk he anticipates prospects in the economy during the upswing, which he argues will be improved if we adopt an approach based on land value equity.
Damien Kiberd, economist and broadcaster is Chairman.
This event is organised by the Land Resource Research Group (www.LRRG.org) and Trinity Political Society. Sponsored by the School of Philosophy and Economic Science.
