Today’s Environmental Research; Tomorrow’s Environmental Protection

The EPA will host a special 2-day conference on environmental research and its vital role in environmental protection.
The purpose of this conference is to showcase the innovative research being carried out under the ERTDI (Environmental Research Technological Development and Innovation) Programme 2000-2006 and the STRIVE (Science Technology, Research and Innovation for the Environment) Programme 2007-2013.
The conference will also feature a panel of experts presenting on key environmental thematic areas such as:
- Environmental Technologies
- Water Quality
- Waste and Resource Management
- Climate Change
- Environment and Health
- Cleaner Greener Production
- Air Quality
- Land Use and Soils
- Socio Economics
- Biodiversity

A drinks reception will be held in Royal Kilmainham Hospital (Irish Museum of Modern Art) on the 6th of February to allow delegates to enjoy the social as well as the scientific aspects of the conference.
