ECO-UNESCO and Just Forests at UBUNTU Network meeting

ENO-UNESCO and Just Forests took part in the UBUNTU Network meeting held in Limerick recently. The purpose of the meeting was to provide an opportunity for teacher educators to explore practical ways of developing student teachers’ knowledge, skills and attitudes of issues relating to local and global equality, justice and sustainability.

Just Forests’ ‘Wood for Life‘ interactive exhibition was on display during the day.

EENGOCF Transport Network to be formed

Does your group want to get involved? A copy of the funding proposal for a transport network, as amended subsequent to comments received, was submitted to the DoE last week. The steering committee for this network needs to be created soon, if there is to be a response to the current Department of Transport consultation.
