Trinity Greens Planning Debate

Trinity Greens will be hosting a planning debate, on the motion that “young people will pay the price of today’s planning decisions”. The debate is being chaired by barrister James Nix, co-author of “Chaos at the Crossroads”. Speakers in favour of the motion include Ciarán Cuffe TD and Frank Corcoran of An Taisce. GMO Debate at Trinity College Dublin

The College Historical Society of Trinity College Dublin are hosting Ireland’s first public debate on GM food since 1998. It will be held on 6 February 2008, 7.30 – 10pm Admission free. All are welcome. Speakers will debate the motion is “That genetically modified food should be considered safe to eat and ethical to produce”.

Seal release at Sutton Dinghy Club

Irish Seal Sanctuary has teamed up with St Fintan’s National School, Sutton and Coastwatch Ireland to celebrate World Wetlands Day at Sutton Dinghy Club, Strand Road, Sutton on Thursday 7th of February at 11.15am.
